LTL
Traditional Less than Truckload shipments consist of carriers picking up your freight and on-boarding it into their network for line haul to final destination deliveries. At Fairgrounds, we take the Strategic Carrier approach analyzing your lane data and carrier selections to engineer a custom delivery solution. This ensures the right carriers are on the right lane, at the right price. What qualifies for a LTL shipment? Generally LTL shipments consist of 5 pallets or less and less than 10,000 lbs. Letting us engineer the perfect LTL transportation model can give you the opportunity to consolidate shipments with our other customers into certain lanes building own line haul and delivering direct with our strategic regional performers.
Truckload
Our Truckload services offer a range of customizable options to meet diverse transportation needs. Clients can choose from Air Ride, Logistics Equipment, and standard Single and Team driver modes for a flexible and tailored approach. The Air Ride option ensures secure transportation by minimizing vibrations and shocks on the cargo. Logistics Equipment provides specialized tools to optimize handling, catering to specific industry requirements. Standard Single and Team driver options offer reliable and efficient shipping solutions, addressing the unique demands of each client for a seamless transportation experience.
Volume/Partial
Traditional Volume or Partial shipments are traditionally on orders of 6 pallets or more and/or over 10,000 lbs. We offer multiple modes of volume transportation. Traditional Volume Consolidation, Direct Load to Ride, and Tail Load and Sealed. When we pick up a shipment on the tail and seal it, we can insure high value goods do not leave the trailer and also provide a faster mode of transit on Volume Shipments.
Flatbed
Flatbeds are crucial for transporting bulky, heavy, or oversized shipments due to their versatility. Our fleet includes specialized flatbeds such as Drop-decks, suitable for taller cargo, and Lowboys, designed for exceptionally tall or heavy loads. The RGN (Removable GooseNeck) flatbed offers additional flexibility with its detachable front, easing the loading and unloading of oversized cargo. In addition, we provide standard 24′, 48′, and 53′ flatbeds, catering to various shipment sizes. Our diverse flatbed fleet ensures we can efficiently and safely handle a wide range of cargo, meeting the specific transportation needs of our clients.
Rail
We have the ability to do Strategic Sourcing on the rail network as well. By working with multiple both local and national providers we source the best rail solution at the right price for each particular lane. Additionally, we have contract pricing options to lock your transportation budget in for a year to meet your cost planning. Finally, we can also get creative with Door to Door, Hub to Door, and Door to Hub transportation solutions.
